DJ Party organized at Pune!

Hey People,

To motivate supporting staff, there was a DJ party organized on 21^st Nov’11 at Pune PE office. Top performers has been awarded by ZBH.

The party was funded from the prize money of Rs. 39,000, that the team had won in Panels &AC scheme floated in April -May '11.

Head office had an attractive rangoli at the entrance that oozed a charming essence! It felt good to be welcomed by a visual delight. The electric diyas (lamp) aggravated the radiance of Diwali. It is amazing to see how Diwali brings with it an ambiance that captivates our mind, body and soul!

On the auspicious occasion of “Dhanteras”, the H.O decided to dress in traditional attire. Many of us enjoyed the privilege to dress in the festival mood.

We also started V-connect e-mailer on the auspicious occasion of Dhanteras, which described the epic and rituals behind Dhanteras.

 

An evening with "India's MINUTE TO WIN IT"

Hi Everybody,

As the festive season approached, we had a fun element to our celebration!

A team from AXN visited our Head office to conduct a game show in line with the hugely popular game contest “India’s MINUTE TO WIN IT” The content team had organized this event.

All the participants had a real good time and thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Have a look!

Navratri: Enthusiastic players organize Garba at BBCL HO

When navratri  is all about song and dance, how can some enthusiastic garba players in BBCL office be behind? Navratri seemed like an apt opportunity to shake a leg and get off the desk!

It took a little while for everybody to shed off the initial awkwardness (read shyness) but the 5 who initiated (Atul, Preetam, Rajesh Rajgor, Pramod and Sudha) went strong till the end

.

Successful Renewals in different Circles

JAIPUR: Our CRE Mr. Ramesh Chandra Bunkar (Jaipur DSC) has done successful Renewal of Rs 56,700 (Fifty Six Thousand Seven Hundred) through PCS from Single customer.

He visited customer premise along with R&R Team Leader Mr. Pankaj Yadav and they both convinced customer for yearly package & reactivated all 28 connections which were lying in suspension state (R&R Data).

 

CHENNAI: Our CRE Mr. Balaji Yadav (Chennai) convinced the Customer for an annual package from Customer Never Recharge bucket & Collected Rs 31000/- (Thirty One thousand) from an Individual customer.

RANCHI: Our Engineer Tariq Anwar collected Rs.30000/- from two customers while attending field repair in the customer place. 

This is a remarkable achievement as :-

It shows mental alacrity of the SE. He went for field repair but immediately took the opportunity of recharging once it cames to his notice.

It is an example for all of us, as at the end of the day one has to generate revenues for the organization.

Independence day with the movie Singham!

Life is fun as much as it is about some serious work. At Videocon D2h, we are ensuring that the fun element from life is not lost.

With festivals giving us so many opportunities to celebrate and mingle with friends, it also gives everybody a chance to have joy amid the routine work. Here is sharing with you all some moments shared and cherished in different offices. 

Lucknow: Lucknow circle had organized a get together along with  BBCL employees/DSC engineers/R&R  and with some family members.

It was an event on the eve of Independence day (national holiday).  The Event started with the recently released movie SINGHAM.

People were encouraged to  participate in Singing/Mono acting,  which was the followed by dinner. After the fun-filled evening,  a  memento was given to each and every member for showing some strong association.

The entire team looked charged and highly motivated to meet the festival requirement.

Iftaar Party at Patna Circle

On 9^th Aug’11 Patna circle office had organized an Iftaar Party. People who graced the event with their presence included; Ajay Jha (Circle Head Patna-UCL), Neeraj Kumar ( Circle Head Patna –BBCL), Athar Firoz (Territory  Head Patna- PE), Ishteyaque Khan, Abhijit Chakraborti (RM-HR –East), Manish Mohan (PE-Commercial), Nirmal Sharma (BCC-BBCL)

Also, present were employees from Synergy. Before the program, Mr. Athar exchange the science behind Roza and why everybody should follow it. Neeraj Kumar told everybody how inquisitive he was in his early days to get an invitation on Eid. Later, everybody distributed food to each other expressing solidarity and prosperity.

Let's Connect with V-Connect!

Hi Guys, it is a great feeling to present the first organizational post here. I bet, with this we are excited to move to the next level of employee communication. Coming up with the idea wasn’t that easier, especially the design, the content and more importantly the name. The thoughts kept flowing! Is it apt, is it hype, is it stiff, will it catch staff attention. On and on thoughts came, and finally the name!

This blog will cover write-ups that will improve our communication across different offices, will enhance our knowledge, and develop our attitude to work. In a nutshell, an intensive and fun-filled read!
